Are you planning a Football Trip to South America? This post has details of the Copa Libertadores Semi-Final and Cop SudAmerica Quarter Final Fixtures to help plan a Football Trip to South America in October 2018
A Football Trip to Buenos Aries looks the stand out option from the draw for the Copa Libertadores Semi-Final. Both Boca Juniors and River Plate were drawn at home in the first leg so it may be possible to see both Boca Juniors v Palmeiras and River Plate v Gremio on consecutive days or on the same day depending on scheduling. They are both due to take place on the 23rd October at the moment although timing is TBC. The return legs are scheduled for the following week on the 30th October. The final is scheduled for the 7th November.
The Copa SudAmerica is at the quarter final stage. The first leg offers trips to Barranquilla (Junior FC) and Bogata (Santa FE FC) in Columbia and Rio (Fluminese) and Salvador (Bahia) Brazil. They will be played on the 23rd October. The return legs on the 30th October will be played in Curitiba (Club Atlético Paranaense) in Brazil, Buenos Aries (Defense and Justice) in Argentina, Cali (Deporivo Cali) in Columbia and Montivideo (Nacional) in Uruguay. So again Buenos Aries might be the destination of choice especially if you can stay for a few weeks as you could watch Cop Libertadores games the first week and Copa SudaAmerica games the next week especially if you consider the ferry across the Plata to Montevideo.
There are several games in Buenos Aries in the weekend in between the two legs with River Plate, Velez Sarsfield and Racing Club are at home that weekend.
